Thanks for providing so much feedback already!
Here's a few things that have been updated -- let me know if it's not working on your end though so I can double-check and see if there's anything I can do to fix things further:
1 - There should be black text in white fields now for the Account/Profile pages instead of white text in white fields.
2 - I added an "Introductions" board so everyone can, well, introduce themselves if they'd like. Feel free to promote whatever and post links to your site, social media, etc. while you're doing that too.
3 - Some of you have asked for a member directory so you can follow other people on here. We do have a "Members" page but it won't be public until the forum goes live. You'll be able to follow other members quickly and easily on there once it's up.
4 - When you first sign up, you'll get notifications sent to your email for pretty much everything. I understand that it's annoying. Feel free to tweak these settings in your account dropdown. "Notifications" will just show you activity -- you'll want to go into "Settings" and adjust things there.
5 - "Pete's Podium" is kind of like my blog/message board where I can post updates, ask questions, etc.. So the settings have now been changed so that you can respond to discussions/questions that I post in the "Pete's Podium" board, but you can not start discussions/topics/etc.. For all other topic boards, you have the ability to start discussions/questions.
